The touchpad is too stiff by default in the beta 2 build of Lucid Lynx.
Compared to the Win XP installation, it's too hard do a click, or
double-click with the touchpad. I find myself using its buttons instead.
If I put the slider to the highest sensitivity, it improved very

The simple gesture of moving the pointer over a target before clicking
is a bad experience. As soon as you lift the finger, the pointer moves
away. It is especially frustrating with smaller targets, because the
click gesture usually happens outside the target's area, the pointer
being already moved

Open the attached java application project with NetBeans. Run the
project from within NetBeans. A window frame will open. Resize the
columns so that the horizontal scrollbar shows. Now scroll to the right.

I attached a screenshot.
I used the latest jdk 6 build from Oracle.
I also noticed repaint issues with Intellij IDEA, after closing its Diff
tool. Maybe I'll attach some images of that too.
Just to be known, these issues weren't present with Natty.

applications. I want to use Natty with Unity for Java development, but
tends to become more unlikely :-(

John: Either way, Unity or Gnome Classic (I assume you meant the effects
enabled Gnome Classic), you'll end up to the no effects desktop. Just
logout, select your account, select the new desktop at the bottom, and
log in.
Nerdknight: There is more to Unity than just the launcher/search
paradigm, s
ppareit: I tested it on my system. And it did replace, but I was able to
reproduce the bug, right after that, with Squirrel SQL, which I chose to
test with.
