Thank you for your assistance. Incidentally, I tried the plugable usb 3.0 cardreader on a windows os today and the device's driver was being "blocked" -- and did not work -- similarly to my personal computer -- the windows os had symantec security software that blocked the autorun info, etc. ** Ch
