This happened to me too. Both using Kubuntu 12.04 Beta1 AND Ubuntu 12.04
Beta 1.
It could be random Freezes but i also had the browser open. (Chromium).

I tried working in Unity 2D for almost 2 hours now and i could not
reproduce the bug.
I have tried:
Running 12 Tabs in the Browser at once, 2 youtube videos each 40 minutes
long.. opening and closing applications
from what i can tell everything runs buttersmooth.

Hey,
I am sorry that it took me so long, but you know how it is: when you are
waiting for a bug to happen - nothing happens.
So i got into gdb and createt that txt, but on the bt command gdb
returned "no stack". I took a look into the file but i dont think it
will be very helpfull to you.

I want to try the same thing as you did. I disabled the Nvidia Drivers
under the "Additional Drivers" Option in Ubuntu and i am now working in
2D Unity Fallback Mode. How do I activate the Nouveau drivers? The
software center tells me that they are already installed.
