Hello everyone,
I'm running 16.04 LTS on a virtual server which, I think, uses OpenVz. After a
recent reboot I found most of my services to be in a failed state.
It's also in Ubuntu 19.04. Tested minutes ago with two different
laptops.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Mute mic
2. Restart laptop
3. Check mic state/volume level
-> Mic ins't muted. Volume level wasn't saved. Really annoying bug, if want to
use Ubuntu in production/telcos

Only solution that works for me was installing the Debian package from #6.

In my opinion the log message from system also needs to be dropped - a
number of systems will use NXDOMAIN as a means of domain blocking/ad
blocking, and this isn't thus an exceptional event that needs logging
each time.

cacti once again depends on libapache2-mod-php5 which causes apache2 to
be installed, which in turn then fails to install if another webserver
is installed and already running.
As apache2 one of a list of suggested supported webservers, cacti should
properly depend on a meta package rather than di

Why not make plymouth a dependency of ubuntu-desktop and remove it as a
dependency of mountall.
It's idiotic, frankly, what about mountall *requires* plymouth to work?

If a directory isn't altered, then apt-get purge should remove it. As
it is, /usr/share/command-not-found is left around even after an
uninstall and a subsequent purge.
