introduced in this version. I got SEGVs ( Bug#524566 ) until I moved
all keyring access into the first/main thread. This worked since before
karmic release otherwise.

Test: Run /usr/lib/desktopcouch/desktopcouch-service (from package
"desktopcouch") in a shell in X. Watch CPU. Hit Ctrl-\ to quit. Re-
run. 50% to 80% of the time, it eats all CPU.

Replication log contains token and token secret so can't be pastebinned

desktopcouch already does what it can and never logs secrets. I don't
think it's worth trying to hide secrets in logs that we don't generate.
We might miss some format, and expose secrets to the public, so the only
safe option is to make all bugs private until we examine them.

Thank you for reporting this bug.
The applet code is dead and replaced in out current code, which will be
released soon. This problem is not serious enough to warrant an
emergency stable-Ubuntu release, so I will mark this bug as Won'tFix,
since we will soon avoid this bug by not using the Applet
There are two steps to adding the computer: 1) Proving which account on
Launchpad/U1 you own. 2) Authorizing a particular computer to be
applied to that account.
It looks like you do not have a local authentication token. When you
are sent to sign-in, you have to accept a token to be used. it

I think I have it avoided. I was trying to use a singleton to cache
some data that should not change often (if ever at all), and in the
module, I create an instance of the singleton class.
