According to syslog the error seems to occur during copy_all due to
OSError: [Errno 21] Is a directory: '/target/usr/local/man'
On my system, /usr/local comes from an existing partition, mounted to
/usr/local. From a previous Ubuntu installatio

The package James posted works well for me as well, on Ubuntu 10.10
64bit. Suspend works again on my HP Envy 14. My battery life has not
improved dramatically, but I haven't yet tried to optimize laptop-
mode.conf.

I just did a fresh install of 10.10 on a Dell Inspiron E1705, which
has the 3945ABG (rev 02) wifi card and my wifi speed is not reduced
(relative to what it was on 10.04).
I'm using the i686 kernel 2.6.35-23-generic #41-Ubuntu which is the
current one from the Update Manager.
Has someone considered
