Yesterday Twitter suddenly started to work in Gwibber. Receiving all
messages as normal. No updates had been installed since the last time I
tried. This is the first time it has worked since upgrading to Lucid.
I'll report back if it stops working again.

I should add that this happened while I was working in my IDE
(Netbeans). It wasn't after a reboot, or an install, or anything like
that. Since Netbeans is written in Java I don't think it could have
caused the problem, I think something entirely unrelated to what I was
doing at the time happened.

directories and mount them again, or reboot, and the problem will be

Ubuntu Lucid has version 2.6.6 of Pidgin. Since Lucid is an LTS version,
would it be possible to back-port the fix to Piding 2.6, or to update
the version of Pidgin in Lucid to 2.7?

The output of scan-image -T is as follows:
scanimage: rounded value of br-x from 215.9 to 215.88
scanimage: rounded value of br-y from 355.6 to 355.567
scanimage: sane_start: Invalid argument
All indications are that there is *some* communication with the scanner,
but then something goes wrong.
Since it doesn't boot at all I can't run the apport-collect command. Is
there some other way of gathering that information?

I tried the latest development release (as of 27-9-2013), but it won't
boot at all on my Optimus laptop, even with no external monitors
attached. It crashes with a "divide error: [#1] SMP" somewhere in
nouveau. I'll attach a photo of the screen. I don't know how to capture
the actual text.

No, the NVidia card was never disabled. Also, it *is* list in Lspci.txt!

I have a bto 15CL58 laptop, a Haswell laptop which has integrated Intel
graphics as well as an NVidia GTX765M with the Optimus system for
switching between the integrated and discrete GPU.
When I try to boot Ubuntu 13.04 on it while having an HDMI monitor as
well as a VGA mon
Note that after upgrading the kernel to 3.11 (from ~kernel-ppa/mainline)
and installing the updated NVidia proprietary driver packages from
~xorg-edgers (since after the kernel update the kernel module doesn't
compile), it *does* work!

Title:
Seeking disabled when starting podcast afte
I have added the requested line to USB-Audio.conf, and it has succeeded
in removing the spurious "Digital Output" entry from the Sound Settings!
However, the headset is still identified as "Speakers" in the Sound
Settings, instead of "Headphones" (even though the icon is a headset).
