Public bug reported:
I performed an upgrade of an 8.10 system to 9.04 via the alternate CD

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
After upgrading to Jaunty beta, Firefox takes forever to navigate from
page to page, often pausing for 20-30 seconds and turning grey before
coming back. Occasionally it freezes the entire system and prevents
other applications from being used
Just an update, this is not a bug in Firefox. I noticed that the problem
was also occurring in Thunderbird, so I turned off Beagle with beagle-
shutdown and everything is back to normal.

After the initial upgrade to 9.04 beta, my sound was working fine, but
now I have no sound playback. I have a system with onboard Nividia sound

general sound playback.
In System->Preference->Sound, I have

As of now, most of my sound issues have been resolved. I now have both
onboard sound and Bose USB sound working correctly. I still have no
sound in Flash, I resolved that issue in Intrepid, I will see if a
similar fix works for Jaunty.

I don't know. My indexer was set to very low priority, and this was
still happening. Note that I had the Beagle indexer plugins for Firefox
and (I think, I'll check when I am in front of my system) Thunderbird
installed. Maybe the plugins are part of the problem.
