I just had the same problem. I created a new user account, logged out
and selected the new user account to login in with. I entered the

with GFTP 2.0.19. This problem was fixed upstream and the project is now

if you put in a incorrect password (above "Unlocking disk ..."). That is
probably the most illegible text to read. I prefer the bottom one, but
could you also test the incorrect password text as well and see if

I see this in Ubuntu Gnome as well with 15.04. Double-clicking the Start
button causes it to crash immediately with the SIGFPE, Arithmetic
exception. Single clicking start, causes the application to crash a few
seconds later, with everything still functional (not hanging).
I also used apport-bug
This problem is not present in 4.12.

Just got the same error a couple of minutes ago. I have this in my dmesg
log:
[ 5069.629929] [drm] stuck on render ring
[ 5069.629932] [drm] GPU crash dump saved to /sys/class/drm/card0/error
[ 5069.629933] [drm] GPU hangs can indicate a bug anywhere in the entire gfx
stack, including userspace.
This is the first time I've had this hang, and it might have been
introduced by the 3.13.0-6-generic kernel which I upgraded to today.
When the gpu hang occurred my mouse cursor was hidden for about five
seconds.
