occasional sound glitches and generally poor sound quality since the
upgrade to Karmic. The sound glitch is most noticeable when hearing the
brief bit of music after logging in via gdm -- it's as if the music is
tripping over

After installing ubuntu-wallpapers-extra, WhiteOrchid.jpg replaced
warty-final-ubuntu.jpg as the background for the Gnome login window. I'd
guess this is because /usr/share/gconf/defaults/16_ubuntu-wallpapers-
extra overrides /usr/
It's not clear to me if this is a bug. There seems to be no way to get a
list of rooms, and there doesn't seem to be any documentation of the
feature. That greatly reduces the utility of Empathy as an IRC client.

started second kept trying to bind to vnc on port 5900, which presumably
was already claimed by the first domain. I only set the port during
initial installation, so I'm not sure why it doesn't just try port 5901.
