Would that at all be useful?
If not I can make an intrepid/jaunty usb stick, will just be a bit

I have encountered problems with AdHoc mode using iwl3945 on Hardy

The issues is discussed and fixed at (although I'm yet able to confirm this
myself):

I'm grateful that someone's looking at this.
Are you able to rename this bug to something more appropriate?

There was a warning on the 43G fat32 partition.
I used Partition Magic to resize it to 29G and the warning

That thread has more info on the source of the problem but no solution.
After upgrading to gutsy I noticed this in both gimp and seamonkey so

Crackly sounds on a fresh Jaunty install. I've tried various things but
haven't upgraded the kernel/alsa yet.
I'm still not clear that this is the bug I'm having, is there diagnostic

It seems this bug doesn't apply to me, and that I just needed to find the right
documentation, then set the model= parameter. Sorry for the waste of time.
I'll note my solution in case it helps random web searchers, but it's NOT
related to this bug. I should also qualify these hints: I just fou
