I have had to unbox my BQM10 tablet (OTA12) again, as my iPad has
failed. I (can) only use it for web browsing, and the almost continuous
crashing of the browser is very irritating.
I can induce it by closing the last tab 3 times out of 5, and by closing
the 2nd of 3 almost every time.

OK, got over both sickness and a very severe attack of real life.
Herewith video showing me attempting to make another attachment to this bug
after selecting the image I was able to tap the text entry field, which made
the keyboard come up and the text entry field was outlined in orange but no

I have had this problem in OTA11 & OTA12.. It is very frequent, and
among the reasons I stopped usingvthe M10 tablet.. I had to dig it out
today, and it is no better yet.. It has done cit at least 6 times this

Now, my understanding of *nix is that file types are not identified by
extension but by 'magic' from the first sector, and these don't seem to
be .jpg files

is bypassed.
I have asked him for details so that I can document what it is that
other browsers could infer but we needed made explicit.

I got this from the developer, the inestimable Barry Hunter:
"I added a
Content-Disposition: inline; filename="$filename.jpg"
header, which tells the browser a sensible filename for the file. Which does
invalidate the reproduction steps in the bug report!
