After installing all updates as of Sept/15/06 on Dapper (kernel
2.6.15-26-686 #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri Sep 8 20:16:40 ) Ghemical fails to run.
I get the following error on trying to run Ghemical
(ghemical:5431): GdkGLExt-WARNING **: Window system doesn't support
OpenGL.

Yes, sorry, I should have got back to you to close the bug. I tracked down
that OpenGL was not working after a kernel upgrade. On install Ubuntu had
installed the 3D accelerated driver for my old ATI card after the upgrade
hardware accelerated OpenGL was no longer working. I was unable to get

Namoroka nightly build PPA. Removing xulrunner-1.9.2 cures problem.

I installed Raring (64 bit) a few weeks ago and found this bug still
present, however when I did a 32 bit install on the same system (EM64T)
there was no problem and ghemical was fully functional. Maybe there is
a difference in the fonts installed on the 32 bit 13.04.

I upgraded my old 64 bit Lucid installation where Ghemical worked
(except for the old bug in running Mopac, in fact I in order to run
Ghemical with Mopac I ran the Windows binary on Wine which basically
worked OK). I had seen the the 64 bit missing font bug before on an
