I had the same issue with a new HP Pavilion dv6605us laptop, running
gutsy. Compiling the b43 driver from linuxwireless.org, for the gutsy
kernel, fixed the problem.

After sitting idle overnight, I started a new email, and started typing
in the "too" field. This happened while typing the username to send to.
The account is setup to use exchange, and to look up addresses against
the global catalo
I have a similar issue. While typing in the TO field, evolution just
locks up completely. I'm using Exchange, looking up agianst the global
address book. This happens about every other day.
Other behaviors that might be related: While typing in the TO field:
(1) Lookups stop, I can still typ

had all 3 of my address books enabled for autocompletion of addresses:
Personal (local)
Contacts (exchange server)
Global Address Book (exchange server) (I'll call it "GAB")

Evolution hangs up every time I try to accept a meeting invitation with
attachments. Seems to me that it used to actually crash when doing
that. I'm currently running edgy (evolution 2.8.1-0ubuntu4, evolution-

Got this after suspending a Dell Latitude D630 laptop. Clean install of
10.04 beta1, with no updates. Video is nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS
135M, using the default driver.

The nature of the problem is that the existing resolv.conf backup code
doesn't handle relative symlinks well. Copied to a different directory,
a relative link becomes a broken link. os.path.exists() returns false
for a broken link.
Thomas-Karl's fix (and the patch I've provided for it) handle it
