Now that mediatomb uses upstart, the problem is that NO_START is not
used anymore... I had to change the /etc/init/mediatomb file so the
NO_START value is checked just after sourcing the /etc/default/mediatomb
file:

I use mplayer 1.0rc4-4.5.2 with gnome-mplayer 1.0.0 (natty) and I still
have this problem.
Do you know which version of mplayer fixes this bug ?

This bug seems to be back. I use Xubuntu Natty.

xfce4-terminal 0.4.5-1ubuntu4
When I open an xfce4-terminal and run htop, I get Xorg that eats 60% of the CPU
and xfce4-terminal that takes 13%.
when I launch xterm and run htop, Xorg doesn't take any CPU, nor xterm.
