For information my error is also on Archlinux 2.6.30
But non on Gentoo 2.6.29

Oh BTW, it works with "Image Scan! For Linux", Epson utility. It seems
to use sane backend. So this is quite odd that it works as xsane crash
too…

I have the same issue when listening to my mpd (music player deamon)
which run a http stream server. In fact when mpd change the music (next
track on the playlist for example). mplayer broke the stream while with
-demuxer ogg its OK.

mplayer stops ogg streaming, repeating "Cache not filling!"
