xemacs-21.4.21-mule exhibits segmentation fault while scrolling certain files

I've tried to recrate your bug in Ubuntu 11.10 with the latest versions
of emacs23 and xemacs21-mule, but it seems that xemacs21-mule now backs
up the .emacs config file on your a) route, and doesn't modify it on
your b) route. Do you still get this bug?
