I do have exactly the same problem: Minutes after resuming from a
suspend to RAM the X-server crashes and I have to restart it in low
graphics performance mode. In this mode however it does not crash after
a suspend to RAM.
I am using lucid (32 bit) on a Toshiba M45 with a Intel 915GM grap
For the time being, I bought an ASUS N-10 USB wifi adapter. This one
works out of the box and without problems!

The seems to be a bug when exiting full screen mode resulting in a
frozen screen which requires a restart of X.
How to reproduce (this is just an example, I can reproduce it with more
programs):
Start dosbox, hit Alt-Enter to get in fullscr

[Natty Beta1] Frozen scree
I have exactly the same chipset and expirience the same problem.
Everything is fine as long as wifi is deactivated, but when I use it I
get unexpected freezes after some time --- everything is working fine
when using windows.
