I am on 8.10 and have following cards: eth1 + ath1 (both wireless). Now
I would like to be able to use eth1 as usually without the other one
connecting to the same network (which is cause strange delays while
fetching web pages). So I decided to add ath1 to interfaces file:

I am able to change the bindings in ccsm, but they appear to have no
effect. after log-out/log-in, the settings are still 'changed' but again
- it does not work as expected.

No hibernate/sleep available in gdm, but once logged in they do exist

What is wrong with allowing users changing this setting? Worst things is

False alarm regarding BTTV driver! The problem is with gnomeradio... I
have tried Rhythmbox with the FM radio plugin and it happened to work.

I was able to get PAE kernel to work with just installing the kernel
headers. Why it is not isntalled as a dependency?
The problem reappeared after today's kernel update which left me again
without nvidia module compiled. I have switched to non-PAE kernel for
now until this bug is resolved.

This bug has been reported months ago and nothing happened since. I'd
like to stress that Brasero is rubbish unless it JUST WORKS. I have just
made a few shiny coasters on a few PCs with Ubuntu (3 of them actually)
as I couldn't believe this could be a software fault... No one releases
burning soft

This bug also affects imagemagick's convert program. It is throwing the
same message (probably due to its usage of the mentioned library).
