This affects me. I never had a problem with any previous release, only
in Intrepid. The graphics card is an nvidia 6600GT.
It is reproduced every time I move the mouse over the title bar.
Changing the window border style from Human to Clearlooks fixes the
problem.

I grabbed -96 from proposed and installed it through synaptic, but
nvidia-settings still isn't happy.
Is there something else I need to do? Should I try -71? Or should I
just wait until they show up in not-proposed and Jockey is
unblacklisted?

Alberto, sorry I actually just got it working! Now twinview is enabled
and I have my dual screens back. Thanks for your help.
(Aside: how to stop the deskbar from extending into the second screen?
I'd like it if it just showed up on the left screen)

Here's the root problem:
After resetting X (thanks Fabian!) I now have a single monitor working

Sorry, but this bug is definitely back. If my network is hidden, I am
prompted for my passphrase after rebooting, and after entering my
keyring pass phrase. If the network is broadcast, then nm remembers my
passphrase and I get connected just find after entering my keyring

Try upping your AGP aperture size.
I had which looked like the same issue with a Radeon X800 GTO. I reset
the BIOS before I rebuilt the box, so the AGP aperture size was set to
64M. Upping it to 128M seems to have fixed it. I've managed to recreate
the issue several times.

Hi Bryce,
One followup. I put the following in my xorg.conf file but this does
not seem to fix the problem on reboot. I still have to manually issue
the setxkbmap command for this to take effect. Any ideas?

The problem when I reported this bug had nothing to do with kernel
modules, as indicated by the snippet that reproduces the problem.
/usr/include/asm/atomic.h was provided by the linux-libc-dev package.
When you included this header file, breakage ensued.
In hardy, this file no longer exists (and
