Ubuntu doesn't seem to support raw devices very well any more (fair
enough, as they were deprecated quite a while ago), so versions of
gddrescue that don't support direct disk access are now a bit useless,
as that functionality is supposed to replace the raw device support in
gddrescue.
Also note
Maybe the importance of this bug should be upgraded, as a major feature
of the application is now effectively broken?
