When plugging or unplugging laptop, a small box near the bottom of the
screen 'freezes' the screen content within the box.
After a minute or so it goes away.
Believe this is the notification bubble that should show current plugged
/ unplugged state.

When plugging in the drive an error box or two pops up (see attach)
I click ok,ok and multiple drives (double) are shown in Places (see
attached)

Thanks for the tip about cpu.. when I use powersave mode with KPowersave
that forces cpu to 800 instead of 1200 it seem to help quite a bit, but
still hapens eventually. Still a marked improvement.
I also experienced similar flakey mouse movements before in feisty/gutsy
when wireless
