Some progress: it seems to be caused by the overlay scrollbars. Anyone
who still has the bug, can you try to start your application with the
LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR environment variable set to 0? For example to start
vlc, you would type "LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 vlc" in your terminal.

As for the icon: Amarok has been using a fixed icon when running on GNOME since
Lucid. It is still the case for Maverick. Please reopen the bug if it's not
anymore.
As for the left-click vs right-click behavior: the design of application
indicators enforces left-click-opens-menu as the only poss
The dialog was getting too big because of the Video page. Attached patch
moves the tab of this page from the bottom to the right to fix this.

plasma-widget-menubar 0.1.13 has special handling for GTK apps which
insist on using GTK icon names instead of freedesktop.org ones, this
fixes some of the broken icons. You will still get quite a few generic
"wilber heads" icons because GIMP uses lots of "gimp-" icons.

kernel. Anything I can do to help getting this fixed? It used to work
with Lucid.
