I have found that if I set the reboot once at 15 min, the server works
for 5-6 days. If the reboots are done once at 10 min, the server get
stuck in 24-48h max. Now I'm testing the reboots once at 20min, it
should take 10 days or more until is stuck.

I forgot to mention that if I am on a workspace and I click the browser
on my launchpad (the browser is already open on another workspace) then
actually nothing happens now...I used to be sent to the workspace the
browser is open, however NOW... nothing... I have to manually switch to
the workspace
I have the same problem: my virtual windows xp 32 bit sp3 will not boot
with kvm (will freeze quite early at booting with high cpu usage in one
of the two cores (acc. to System Monitor)). It works well with qemu. It
can boot in "Safe Mode" even with kvm if that matters, but in this case
(with kvm)
Better yet, I can share the image file with whoever would like to debug the
problem. It's right after the installation and installed size is reduced
considerably thanks to nLite. It's

I have also tried wicd instead of network manager, I also tried madwifi,
and even ndiswrapper. No success with any of them.

I tryed reproduce this bug with this computer:
Motherboard: Asus P5Q
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad (q6600)
Memory: 2x2 gb DDR ii 1066 MHZ
HDD: Samsung HD100UJ (Sata ii)
Optical drive: Pioneer
DVD-216D (Sata)
Video card: GigaByte NVidia 8500 GT 512 MB
This bug is present.

In intrepid
, but the soundcard surround volume is muted default,
because this problem is present, inpossible install the system with
Accessibility install without sighted assistance.
Possible solve this problem with Ubuntu 8.4.2 and Intrepid releases?

I have same problem with two machines, my desktop pc and my laptop.
The desktop Pc configuration is:
Motherboard: Asus Mpv-mx
CPU: Athlon64X2, 3800+
Memory: 2x1 GB
Chipset: Nvidia Geforce 6100
Soundcard: Creative Audigy Ls
Graphics card: Nvidia Geforce 6100 (integrated with mainboard)
My laptop t

Hi. I made the packaging of 2.6.1
Find attached the diff file. This seems to be my first successful attempt to
upgrade a package. So if it turns out, that it actually is OK, than I won't
feel so bad with all the other failures I had.
So please check it and let me know whether it fits.
