When accessing Jamendo on Rhythmbox, it loads the whole catalogue and
eats up all my RAM memory (rhythmbox using around 630mb by itself, I
have 1Gb ram). After closing rhythmbox, memory is around 230mb.

I confirm this bug for Jaunty, as bug #376214 (that I just filed) has been
flagged as duplicate of this bug.
The difference is I can see the songs perfectly, the problem is just that the
memory RAM is full.

I just tried Karmic alpha-3 and the sound *works* (HP Mini 1000 1120NR)!
*BUT* there is a crackling sound lasting a few milliseconds, it seems to
happen a little while after the last sound has been played (maybe some
kind of powersaving?). This will probably be very annoying to end-users.

I copied over my apt preferences from Lucid (see attachment). It is used to
prevent installing some packages I don't want.
The problem is that when installing ubuntu-restricted-extras, apt still wants
to install ttf-liberation.

Epiphany, Chromium (and other apps that I've tried) behave correctly (scroll is
