Command line dist upgrade from (quite) up do date 08.4 to 8.10
I already had some ssl keys.
The key generation seemed frozen , as no activity of a key gen process was
visible in a $ top for many minutes
I killed the the generation in the upgrad

Same situation. I tried
$ sudo ubiquity -d --pdb | tee debug.log
but debug.log remains empty, and was even not dropped into the python debugger

I have a fresh Kubuntu 9.10 install. I wanted to install gnome, but it
fails. The package gnome-vfs-obexftp is not found, but it seems it is no
more used for 9.10.

During the upgrade process, the file kglobalshortcutsrc seems to be
modified at some point. The result is that, after the upgrade, the
shortcuts to launch Krunner were not functional anymore. This is true

If a proxy is configured for tracker connections and if an IPv6
connectivity is available and the tracker is reachable via IPv6,
KTorrent establishes a direct connection to the tracker and bypasses the
proxy.
I would have expected that no connection leeks outside of the proxy
Returning NXDOMAIN is the behavior of Adblock on Turris-os (a derivative
of OpenWRT) with Knot resolver as back-end. I am of the same opinion
than @cbz . At the moment I will limit the logging rate.

When logging into KDE5 (or XFCE4), I faced the same symptoms today.
Deleting everything in ~/.cache allowed me to log back in. The main KDE
panel had to be recreated.
