Hello
Have you tried to remove .config/xfce4 and .config/xfce4-session
directories and logout/login or restart?
Or go to settings/xfce4 settings manager/removable drives and
media/storage checking that the first 2 top boxes are checked?
I don't have such issues after 2 upgrades using different m
Sorry for my disagreement and for being a little sarcastic, for 3
reasons:
1. Users are comparing a methodology to escape the bug while it exists. I don't
give a damn about the bug now, thanks to the tips I found here about pcmanfm2
(I do prefer tabbed browsing anyway).
2. Users are describing b
Hi
"My" driver is a repackaging of the Winischofer driver for both Jaunty
and Karmic. It is working 100% on my laptop, either with the integrated
lcd (1280x800) or with an external monitor. But I heard that there are
cases of difficult coordination between the lcd and the external
monitor. I have
Ah, soon I will try this driver on lynx, xorg 1.7 is there and I am
curious to knw if I must keep using Jaunty or not...

With the new ubuntu jaunty server no changes, with the fc8 server openoffice
refuses to open a .odt server document, it hangs, so it got even worse.
Monday I will fix nfs ports and firewall the ubuntu server, and will recheck on
both a machine with ppa and one without.
Have a nice weekend.

Hi! :-)
I am returning to this because I think the bug exists indeed, my secretary has
been complaining about this, making me lose time checking why she has hit the
wall, or if there is a fix it is not obvious to me...

re-opened it, I think it is even worse than described in Jaunty.

Tried on a Jaunty 32-bit server and the problem disappeared. It is
apparent if the server is an NFS server on FC8, but I still have to
check again, because the FC8 server is firewalled and has fixed NFS
ports, and the other is still open.

Hi
The worst part was that I could not see a bit of a difference between a
scanned jpg image and a converted graphics magick (not image magick,
note) in pdf format or a native scanned xsane pdf. No artifacts,
nothing. That was the reason I re-opened this bug. I can send over some
examples, but the
Hi Tommy
Thanks for the ps multipage feature tip. Today we used that together with gm
convert (Graphics Magick) to create a splendid pdf. I installed 'context' so as
to try pstopdf, but still, the final size is almost doubled in relation to the
size of the file created with gm convert, and the
