Sorry, did anyone check this? The fix didn't work in my case (version 1.6.1 under Ubuntu Gutsy). And it could not work since urllib2 does not support ssl via proxy (http://aspn.activestate.com/ASPN/Cookbook/Python/Recipe/456195). I corrected it in my case (http://mellit.wordpress.com/2008/03/28/gma
