I am running Hardy Toshiba Satellite A110-195 laptop (lshw details
bellow) and I'm trying to get more aggressive fan settings in an effort
to resolve some heat issues.
I have tried using toshset, toshutil, fnfxd - they all complained about
missing kernel support / kernel modules.

Hi!
Today I came across something that seems interesting to me. After
resuming from hibernation I'm getting blank screen for X. Text mode is
working (I can use CTRL-ALT-F1 and run things on the text terminal), and
I can verify that the programs in my graphical session are working. I

After upgrading to 9.04 I've had noticing problems with spellchecking in pidgin.
After changing the the SET value to 'cp1251' I got proper spell checking in
pidgin but openoffice stopped doing spell check for me.

A quick sidenote:
I've upgraded to 9.04 (Jaunty) and it seems like the issue described here is
now gone.
Perhaps there was not enough room in the code to keep this one and in the same
time introduce the new issues :P

I have just upgraded linux-image, linux-headers, and linux-restricted-
modules to 2.6.27-14. So far I have followed the scenario I described in
my comment above and killswitch has been working as expected. I'll
continue to play with it later today and if the improbable happens, and

I am experiencing this issue on a Toshiba Satellite A110 laptop.
A slight difference with the above reports that's worth mentioning is that I
use uswsusp instead of the stock solution.
I have tried the following scenarios:

So far I have counted half a dozen changes in the summary of this bug
