I'm running up-to-date intrepid. I have a volume control wheel on the
side of my Toshiba U300 laptop. This volume control did work as expected
in hardy. It operates like a scroll wheel on a mouse, in the way that it

I'd like to mention that the version that has been pointed out (0.1.22)
is infact the version that I'm trying to install, which has the bad
dependencies. I've looked at the i386 and amd64 debs and they have
different dependencies. i386 asks for python << 2.7 and amd64 asks for
python << 2.6.

I just discovered that my user agent in firefox, says that I've got a
locale of en-US, although ubuntu is set as being in the UK. So I believe

I just managed to work out that my confiuration in gconf had gone bad.
I just reset my settings by running gconftool-2 --recursive-unset
/apps/rhythmbox

Rhythmbox doesn't provide me with any .crash files in /var/crash/ it
just quits with "Segmentation Fault (Core Dumped)". When trying to
manually invoke apport with rhythmbox it provided me with a chance to
open a new bug, which is the other bug that is a duplicate of this one.
Do you suggest I ope

share, it fails and produces an error message saying "The specified
location is not mounted".

Well... Let me expand this then.
I can go to this secure site on my laptop, on the same internet
connection, and the secure server goes fast.
I can go to a secure site on the problem PC, using a different browser
suchas mozilla or opera, and it goes at the expected speed
But whenever I use firef
Recently, I have re installed ubuntu. I believe this was related to some
messed up configuration in my user profile.
