I confirm the issue. One detail that should be noted is that during the
first connection DNS works, but it leaks! I.e. if you are using a VPN
service for privacy purposes you'd expect NM to pick up the DNS settings
from the VPN provider (like openvpn from terminal does) and don't use
your home rout

Mattia, I've just tried and I confirm it works for me too. I don't like
having the word "Windows" in my /etc/default/grub but I can survive. :)
I hope this will also help to reduce the temperature, more than what TLP

alternative in any of the standard repositories. Now how are we supposed

You mean the "align_image_stack" function that on a couple of almost
identical pictures finds only 3 matching points? In comparison, a naive
Harris Corner Detector we made at the university with Matlab is much
more powerful... If you are talking about the other 4-5 tools that Hugin
claims to suppor
PS: I forgot to point out a thing... as you probably know it takes 8
points to estimate an homography, hence the align_image_stack has a so
low recognition level that it's plain useless.
