that problem".
Both the bug and the solution is simple: wait a new nvidia driver for
GeForce cards before FX series.
Ubuntu can't fix this bug until nvidia releases a new driver.

Can't be fixed without ugly code I guess, so I won't fix it nor in Clearlooks
neither in Murrine :)

I'm quite interested in client side window decorations, do you know how can I
patch the engines to add that support?
Murrine already supports RGBA (transparency), but it lacks support for
decorations

this is not a bug in the murrine engine, and please dashua don't write
false things, like murrine's rendering of scrollbars is slower than the
pixbuf engine. Totally untrue.

an embedded window or similar (banshee has gstreamer, screensaver

This is strange, if both the panel and the app are running a RGBA
colormap should have worked... we should ask Owen Taylor, because he
wrote some stuff on the tray icon plus those colormaps
