i have installed xubuntu 16.04 on my machine, and tried to install from it to
another hard drive to use it with another machine
after following all the steps ubiquity crashed when it was about to format/copy
files

Suspend works fine, but Hibernation does hibernate without complains

I've solved my problem.
The problem I had was that hibrenation never resume, and finally discover that
what was missing was an "resume" entry in grub2 configuration.
I think it has something to do with partition numbers, which in my case have
changed, and grub didn't include the swap partition a
