I found out that it was probably the wireless network where I was at the moment
that caused my kernel to panic.
They use a sort of Apple-router with 802.11n, and as soon as I switched to
using cabled networking, my laptop stopped freezing.

This just started happening on my laptop as well. I have a Fujitsu
Siemens Celsius H250 laptop, and have been running Intrepid for a month

sound on my Fujitsu Celsius H250 disappeared. It seems to be a bug with
my snd-hda-intel module, cause when I try to run 'sudo modprobe snd-hda-

Wops, seemed like I had downloaded, compiled and installed the latest ALSA
dev-drivers. Re-compiling these fixed my problems.

Okay, after changing my system language to English the ubuntuone-
preferences doesn't freeze anymore.
Still, the sync never actually starts. The only thing «u1sdtool -s»
tells me is either "waiting before try connecting again" or "doing auth
dance".

I have seen this for quite some time as well. Usually connected to both
wifi and cabled network at work (while laptop is docked), which is quite
handy for when I go to meetings and undock my laptop, but will stay
online since I am also on wifi.
After a while though, and after re-docking the laptop

helped a great deal. Although, sometimes the lock screen acts up and
shows my windows, toolbars and is weirdly unresponsive after resuming
from suspend. I suppose that could be a different bug, perhaps with
Gnome or Gnome Shell?

a flash based web site. This happens at least once a day with different
circumstances.
The fastest way to get back to work is to drop to the tty-shell and
restart lightdm. Restarting and/or killing pulseaudio fixes nothing.
Tested the latest daily current kernel (3.2.0.999 or something) and it
just happened again today.

Doubt that it has anything to do with #836250. I don't have any problems
with stability, speed or quality. And I had the same problen in Natty.
I will try disabling 11n with modprobe first and get back to you.

Does this patch work in Natty? I have the same problem with my Qualcomm
Gobi 2000 module. It disconnects and the device disappears for a little
while (30 seconds or so) and then reappears and I have to re-connect my
mobile broadband connection manually.

Same problem. Lenovo Thinkpad Edge 13". Suspend works when I use
2.6.38-8-generic-pae. In 2.6.38-10-generic-pae it doesn't work and just
freezes, still my flashing suspend light on my laptop is blinking but it
doesn't respond to any keys.

Same problem here on my Thinkpad Edge 13. The workaround in the

OSD appears when I press one of the keys mentioned, but nothing happens.

Further investigation reveals that this only occurs when S3 suspend is
enabled in BiOS. The default that is shipped is identified as s2idle in
systemd (just called "Windows 10 and Linux" in BiOS[1]) and is a sort of
