Ubuntu 12.04, Gnome Shell 3.4.1, Intel GMA 5700 MHD (HD Graphics),
Pentium Dual-Core P6100
Happens when some notification appears, like disconnected from the Internet,
new track in music player, or message in Skype.
Tried without extensions, and with default settings. Still happens.

@Wei2912, it's just Intel HD Graphics. Not 2000 or 3000.
I would call it HD Graphics 1000, because it's weaker than 2000.

@Mao, what distro and gnome version do you have (i don't think you still use
Mint 12)?
The PPA version worked for Ubuntu 12.04 (default had this bug), and Fedora's
default works for me.
Cinnamon is just a Gnome fork with some extensions and a new theme, so
you may see this bug. If you did not, t
@Mao, have you tried using Fedora 17? It's using Shell 3.4.2 (gnome-
shell --version reports 3.4.1), with latest stable kernel and Mesa
(after update, however). If the bug was fixed, then it will be there.
