Just to clarify for whomever fixes this. Focus isn't lost from the
launcher, just the selection moves beyond the launchers. Hitting up or
down (depending what end of the launcher you're on) shows the cursor
again.

For Super+S/Super+M you can use F10 to jump to the panel, and then the
arrow keys to move between indicators. I know it's not the same, but

Chase the real problem is that it keeps firing the events after the
scroll has terminated. I can have my fingers off of the touchpad for
(what I interpret to be) close to a half second, and I'll still get bit
by zoom if I hit ctrl.

I've never seen this happen. Does this happen with all applications or
just some? Is it true for both maximized and floating windows?
