This is probably on the larger side of bitesize, but shouldn't be too
terribly complex. The square shapes are the raw keycodes getting turned

When an app is minimized, and the launcher is hidden, the app's launcher
icon peeks out from the side. This is a really nice effect, but I think
the icon pops out too far and is distracting. I'm trying to dismiss the
application from my view, and I get startled by the pop out.
This is a problem with nautilus, Unity doesn't touch the icons on the
desktop.

Chmmr, nouveau can run unity, but it requires libgl1-mesa-dri-
experimental to be installed. Word of warning this segfaults on some

I still don't see how this is a bug, when in the current Unity right
clicking an empty trash shows no quicklist. Is this some kind of "keep
this under consideration" wishlist bug?

custom shortcuts doesn't show up in dashboard

What method are you using to find the application in the dash? I assume
you're searching for the title of the app as it was displayed in the
menu? If you log out and log back into a normal gnome session, is the
item there in the gnome menu still? Can you also check to make sure
there is a .desktop
