Its the drivers... I had the same problem until I downloaded and
compiled an updated driver from intellinuxwireless.org
After that, I can connect without any problems to a WPA2 EAP TLS

Same problem on an HP 8710w system. Trying to connet to a corporate
WPA2/EAP TLS network using certficates used to work on gutsy.. Now, it
is very difficult to make it work. The driver is very flaky. I connect
to the same network from an older laptop that uses an IBM card and I

system but some files i can't see are spanish that can have special
characters as ñ, I've tried to install spanish language pack but nothing

I did some others tries, it work perfectly at font scaling 1.25, so i think is
a problem about fractal scaling?

I have the same problem after upgrading to 16.04 from 14.04.
I am using a Kaveri APU, that is supposed to work with both "radeon" and
"amdgpu" drivers.
The "radeon" driver doesn't work: after the very initial steps of the
bootstrap, the screen goes black, although a may access the system via SSH.

Michael, thanks for the help.
Said so, I think that it "is" a skip-taskbar-hint issue:
I think that Unity should not show the application in the taskbar,
it doesn't matter if it has or not the indicator, or if it has the .desktop
file or not!

Michael: The lastest Synapse has an option to hide the indicator.
The problem is that in Unity there are 2 indicators: one in the top panel, and
one in the left taskbar.
I'd like a way to show only the panel one.
