gnome shell on Ubuntu. Could we add some things to poke compiz enhanced
zoom into life, and show those bits when compiz is running and the

position polling plugin. This has a default setting of 40ms which is
rather jerky, having discussed with compiz developers it seems that
there is now no performance impact of setting this to 1ms now because of

so you now put the live CD in, and just wait. After a minute or so the
live CD boots and you hear some drums, this isn't at the full session,
it is at the first part of the ubiquity installer and you have a choice
then of "try Ubuntu" and "Install Ubuntu", if you press ctrl+s for

the proposed version of onboard has just a keyboard with no window
controls or top bar. It can be resized easily and you can move it about
by resizing it, but it does not appear to be possible to drag the window
without holding alt on a hardware keyboard (and use of a soft key
actually forget that, I failed to see the huge new drag icon on the
right just below the hide button.
