After the machine has been suspended by either closing the laptop lid or by
manually calling suspend from shut down menu. And I try to wake it up by
opening the lid, I get a blank screen. Nothing works. Ctrl+Alt+F1 ror
Ctrl+Alt+F7 nothing works.

Did my testing below with limited stuff running on the desktop. Only
