Thanks for taking a look, Tianon. You're right that Docker appears to be
behaving normally... running journalctl -b I see that the system did in
fact reboot causing the Docker shutdown, and that it came back online at
19:29:45 with multiuser system target being reached at 19:30:04.

I forget to mention vasdi I did downgrade to xserver-xorg-input-
evdev_2.10.1-1ubuntu2_amd64.deb and indeed it solved the problem.
Although I'm sure you will agree, an upgrade is preferable, so no doubt this
needs to be addressed in the official Ubuntu repos.

Executing " pm-suspend --quirk-s3-bios --quirk-s3-mode" will suspend the
laptop. However, it takes several minutes and the CPU appears to go to
100% - based on the heat of the exhaust emissions.
The pm-utils subsystem reports no errors, but this 100% CPU issue is

Off And Turning It On Again technique. I can then reboot as often as I
like and it stays working, but powering off and powering on again will
cause it to fail.

I do think it is worth mentioning that since it is a in issue that shows
up in the Vulkan CTS, it is likely that it will also show up in other

aa_label_merge - "BUG: unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference
(aa_file_perm)".
It does have some significant similarities in the trace though. I've had
