did that fix it for you? https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/278471 < seems to be the same problem, but they have a different fix which doesn't work here i haven't tried it, but maybe commenting out the line which starts krunner in /usr/bin/startkde works, otherwise you can just do killall krunner k
