I hope that this comment helps someone else, but I was having similar
problems with ibus while using Firefox. Although I could input text
using ibus, I could not right-click or access any of the menus (File,
Edit, etc) while ibus was active.
I tried reinstalling ibus and changing the input method
I fixed the problem deleting config folder on "~/.config/tilda" (on
Ubuntu) and then re configuring it with command "tilda -C"

I'm working on (K)ubuntu 8.10, alpha (I upgraded to 4th, but it must be
the 5th right now).
The matter is that on the Adept Add/Remove, there are two "Krita"s, one
for the real Krita, and other that installs Gimp. Actually this last one

OK, this is very strange. I just closed and opened adept installer, to
see if the Krita-Gimp package would disappear. And that's what I've got
searchinf for Krita: (see attachement).

The point it that this has happened again, this time with another
aplication, so I think the problem is the search engine that Adept
Installer uses. I attach one more sccreenshot. It seems to happen when I
search for something, and then, when I search another time for
something, old and new searchs

My CIFS mounts refuses to umount when I halt o reboot the system. It
seems that a script is stopping the network before the call of
/etc/rc[06].d/S31umountnfs.sh.
I'm using Kubuntu 7.10 64bits.
