Okay, I should have installed ltsp-server-standalone. But if i had my
dhcp from some other source... then the /etc/ltsp dir would not be made
???
Now I installed ltsp-server-standalone. /etc/ltsp/dhcpd.conf was made.
I have 2 nic's, so I added one line:
subnet 10.10.10.132 netmask 255.255.255.0
After fixing the stoopid ip addres/netmask error I made in dhcpd.conf,
the thin client boots !
But, the edubuntu splash screen shows, but the progress meter does not
move.
After a while stating at the edubuntu splash screen with no moving
progress bar, a black screen with a X in the middle appear

Yes, please reject the bug since it is not a big thing. However, all the
things I did, except the last answer (0ct 31) which I somehow missed,
didn't solve the problem. I did a clean install of edgy then, for other
reasons than this bug obviously :-) and of course from then on I had
firefox as brow
I experienced the same problem with Gutsy, replacing the BOCHS-BIOS
fixed the problem.

In KDE, when right-clicking on the clock in the panel, then choosing
'Adjust Date/Time', it asks for root password. Given the correct root
password, the 'ask for root password' dialog disappears and nothing
happens.
When going to K-menu -> System Settings -> Date & Time, the

Just a question, did you try to stop kmail, remove the index files, and start
kmail again ?
I don't know if that will result in more loss, so be carefull (backup
first?).
I had a similar experience after kmail had crashed, sometimes.
I would then delete the files
.trash.index
.trash.index.ids
I reproduced this in Gutsy with Kmail Version 1.9.6 (enterprise
0.20070907.709405) (4:3.5.7enterprise20070926-0ubuntu2) by dragging an
attachment to the desktop.

When I have the mail list AND the preview pane open, then selecting one
mail in the mail list, and then hitting PageUp or PageDown moves the
message in the Preview Pane. Home and End do nothing for me.
Can you confirm that? Maybe you need to make your preview pane smaller
or select a longer messag
In the Folder list, PageUp and PageDown work as described above; the
Home and End move to the first resp. last folder in the Folder List.

Thank you for your bug report!
I think that before you removed the unread mail, you had to select them.
Hence, the 'last read mail' was one of those unread messages. After you
removed them, and went back to 'Any Status', there is nowhere to go back
to since the 'last read message' was just removed
