Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
Arabic encoding on terminal window views separated letters rather than
connected ones as Arabic language is supposed to be, or does encoding as
an Ubuntu definition per se mens only the substitution of the letters ?

Bicon changes the path of the terminal program or sets a new emulator in
its path -im not sure, i didnt inspect it- but Synaptic does not install
back the old configuration when Bicon deb package is removed.

Reinstalling the gnome-terminal solves the issue ..
but is this the normal procedure taken against external software
supplied by their developers rather than Ubuntu's ? In other words, mens
only the substitution of the letters ?mens only the substitution of the
letters ? Is re-installation always
