Something that's weird which caught my eye when looking at Xorglog was
that apparently my video card is configured as a "ATI Technologies Inc
RV350 [Mobility Radeon 9600 M10]", although I can back up with old press
articles that it was sold as a notebook having a Mobility Radeon 9700
installed.

FreeSans now has much better kerning, which is visible especially when
comparing the old bold version and the new one. I know, now is a bad
time to report this, but this should also be really easy to resolve. You

Hi,
the PDFSam version included in the Ubuntu repos is very old:
available in Ubuntu Precise: 1.1.4
available from http://www.pdfsam.org/?page_id=32 : 2.21
Is it possible to get a newer version or are there roadblocks?
Workaround:
* make sure you have OpenJDK installed

Can reproduce on LibreOffice 3.6 a1+.
Curiously, the problem goes away when one adds a second item to the numbering.
