Copying the file "/var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/xulrunner" from another machine
fixed the problem.
The file was deleted upon purging the package "xulrunner-1.9", while the
package "xulrunner-1.9.1" was still installed.
Successfully re-installed "xulrunner-1.9" afterwards, which is required by
"fire
Xorg's memory consumption goes up each time the tty is switched to or
from the one running the X server, and each time the box is suspended &
resumed. The increase at each step depends on the 'pixmem' size.

2. Open a new tab in that terminal (File > New Tab)

There's no way in the latest installer to select none of the "Other
options" once you hit F6. If you hit F4 or F5, the defaults are Normal
and None. In case of F6, you end up selecting acpi=off by default, or
some other option; you can't return to normal state.

The latest version of evolution-mapi crashes exactly as described in the
comments above. The only way of avoiding the crash is to use the
server's IPv4 address instead of the hostname.

I faced this issue on a karmic-server yesterday, upon rebooting after 4

locker when its installed as suggested in a comment above.
Updated from Ubuntu + Xfce (xubuntu-desktop) 18.04 -> 20.04.1. Used work
around like Craig above, and disabled lock part in xfce4-screensaver.
