Installed 9.10 2 days back, and had problems with network manager, so
uninstalled and switched to wicd. The crash report was waiting for
tonight (last reboot done on Sunday 1-Nov).

Just one additional comment, like Dave I did switch to KDE to try it out
before switching back to Gnome. However, no problems at that point
(1-Nov).
