I resolved the problem by adding the line "options snd-hda-intel model=dell" to the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf and reloading Alsa by running "sudo alsa force-reload". Alsa is not detecting the correct model of my audio device. Altough I used "model=dell", the notebook I'm using is not from

That workaround I mentioned before didn't fix the problem. Every time I reboot the system the speakers stop working again. Just reloading Alsa by running: sudo killall pulseaudio sudo alsa force-reload makes the speakers work properly again. So, I removed the line "options snd-hda-intel model=de
