I still have no sound .
So to check it was not the latest ALSA drivers installed in Maverick
... I upgraded them in my other system

Why does Linux Mint and Zorin pick it up and set the sound to work when
Fedora + Lucid and also Maverick do not ..

Ok the Latest . Driver and Hardware not seen .
The sound is not working ... usually I can compile the latest ALSA
drivers and off I go
